"Stadt-Land-Spielt!" is a project to promote the cultural asset of boardgames in society.
Every year since 2013, the second weekend in September in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is dedicated to the theme of playing analog games. Whether board games, card games or dice games - visitors of all ages come together at a variety of locations to spend a playful day together. Individual organizers in cities and municipalities organize these events.
In a relaxed atmosphere, visitors try out different games according to their own preferences - competent game explainers are always on hand to provide support. From events with 40 to around 800 visitors, analog gaming can be experienced in a variety of ways in German-speaking countries.
